looks like it may need a little fettling for my use .
there may well be a viking ( mojo ) 3350 in the for sale section shortly .

Unexpected journey last week from west to east of Germany to collect a huge amount of castolin silver stuff, Fronius TPS2700 and these kit.
Really happy with that.

What Castilian did you get. Rarely find used Castolin stuff over here, I've never seen any of their silver solder for sale used

I have what looks to be a very similar Klauke kit. Nice haul.

I believe there is a knack to it, I have 2 Matchless G80 cranks and a friend has a BSA C15 needing done, so I will get some practice at the measured blow with a lead mallet.

These two turned up today, just in time for some festive whisk(e)y sparring with my lad

I have original Glencairns and they're fine for first sampling of a new bottle or when I'm chilling on my own, but I do find them awkward in my lumps of meat and not the best when socialising!
I also have a couple of Norlan glasses (expensive), and they are great for nosing and tasting, but also they are easy to hold. Slight gripes are the lip of the glass is quite thick and they are fragile compared to other glasses.
I'm hoping that these are a a bit of both, and although I usually drink all whisk(e)y without ice, these give me the option.

In the name of research I'm going to start 'testing' these out, but if I fall over drunk later, I'll take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very happy and safe Xmas

I acquired this alpine 7390m cassette deck to put in my BMW E30. A very knowledgeable fellow in Germany serviced it for me and converted the LEDs and backlight from the classic alpine alien green to orange. Can't wait to fit itView attachment 324477

Well, yesterday actually but in time for an overnight frost. A bit of an indulgence really but I got fed up of the cheapy £1.99 jobs. Seems to work very well although I've not had to resort to the 'ice' end yet.
