Small/compact scaffold tower

Need something compact due to storage space restrictions, & the maximum I'll be needing to reach, hopefully, is around 12'. It's to use both in the flat & the garden.

Yeah, we've one at work, it's O.K, not amazing, has out riggers, which do nothing on hard floors, unless you want to start drilling holes.

That's quite narrow, I'm surprised there's no outriggers.

all the cheapo diy ones ive had to use supplied by customers are rickety they dont promote confidence supose its ok fastened to a wall . i have a steel one not the lightweight crap its 5x5 and goes to 28 foot.

Got to have outriggers if your going high, that is, if you value your life above the job that's required.

Before I bought a used Youngman 4' x 8' scaffold, I rented the 2' x 8' one in the photo. Even with the outriggers it was a shaky bazterd.

If you've any issues with height, you won't feel reassured.

I bought a second hand tower, for a hundred quid, FB Marketplace, makes me feel more reassured, larger, wider, more stable, made of steel, old site stuff.

The problem is storage, & if I went for a Youngman or similar, I'd probably be at least tripling the cost, buying new. It'll likely only get used once in a blue moon, & probably never at full height.

No problem with heights, btw.

No means of adjusting for level

Managed to grab a boss tower for a good price a few years back.
Proper outriggers and wheeled height adjustable feet. Makes it easy to roll it around.

Being ableto use it when ground it up to 500mm out of level is a big bonus

Use one lift when doing ground floor flat roofs. Can roll it around without getting down.

Pretty sure someone posted up a similar post a year or so ago. Think he may have bought the one you linked.

I reached 50. Celebrations have been pretty big
