Pushed a Connectix box out the way in a skip and it was surprisingly heavy so I had a look inside...


Can't be far off a full roll! I've already got a box of u/utp but this is f/utp, more shielding more better. One day I'd like to set up a couple of IP cameras to keep an eye on the workshop so it will get used eventually.

Cos I'm lazy and I see lots of plug welds in my near future

I got something very very similar, only painted a different colour, a few years ago, with the intention of doing something similar - turned out if was easier to butt weld, or use a hand punch to create a bigger hole for decent plug welds, than use it.

Bit underwhelming by comparison of most posts, but I found a McDonald’s monopoly ticket on the floor - the chance card, so I scanned it in to the app on my phone and won a free coffee. All good I thought, I’ll get that tomorrow when I’m at work. So I went today to cash it in and did so, only for the machine to be break as they made the coffee before mine, so they gave out cash refunds - $3.90! So I went to the vending machine at work to get a drink, and my coins were rejected, but out came another 10c piece. $4, for nothing. Not bad!

How does something like that end up in a skip at a main Dealership? Remnants of an office party? (who drinks Mateus rosé anyway?) At least it looks like they cleaned it before jettisoning?

Scottish, lowland Pictish blood - the painted men, though I have no tattoos myself. I’m getting this made by a jeweller as a bracelet for my sisters wedding. Rare surviving silver chain from around 400 ad I think.

Can I ask how you came by it? Not sure what the rules re 'treasure trove' are in NZ but I think here any such 'finds' have to be offered to the authorities? Maybe best not to 'advertise' the fact you have it , in case it's historically significant.

It was in bath, 18 miles from the main dealership.
I was waiting on green flop to arrive.

The work shop is pretty air tight and can get a bit muggy after being in there a long time. So I've bought one of these cheapy air quality monitors.

Has a built in rechargeable battery. An extractor fan had also been installed so the air can be changed when it gets stale

Original pieces can be altered to suit customer's particular requests, there was an element of ambiguity in the OP's post.
