Wow, I didn't realise Sodastream was still a 'thing' - showing my age now...
We drink quite a lot of fizzy water (we don't bother with all the flavourings) and it's a lot cheaper (even with sodastream gas prices) than buying it bottled.

You should be able to get CO2 for less than a fifth of Sodastream, when I was looking into it for my beer I think a proper supplier worked out to at least 20 times cheaper!

A Fakita multitool for which I paid £36.40 on Banggood. No major issue there as I wanted one but seeing the value stamped on the box it came in as USD 17.70 was a bit of a kicker!

Yes, probably. It would be a bit cheaper if we went for a bigger bottle, but the 3.15 kg one fits in a kitchen cupboard underneath the sodastream so is nicely hidden. It's a rent-free cylinder as well, so probably a bit more expensive than contract gas.

A BSA Meteor Super , at top. It was skip wrecked but now new internals.
Cheap to get seals etc, the spring was fine.

It's all I drink, a cup of coffee in the morning (might be two really strong cups) and then bottled sparkling water, to the exclusion of everything else, I like it that way.
The Super Meteor also came with a rounded foresight hood. (Unlike the Airsporter hood which was square).
I know, pedantic.
