Think we must be related. I knocked my box of bootlace ferrules off the shelf earlier. It's fallen (open of course) in between my yet to set up lathe which I've now to move to get to the ferrule mess. Instead of sorting it I went and saw @Pete.

Just ventured in and photographed tomorrow's clean up job:

Wouldn't mind but I did the same the other week with another set of ferrules.

Today I acquired the knowledge that reversing a twin axle trailer is an art form. Sadly I seem to have missed that class

It's just practice, that's all. Very easy if your vehicle is a decent height too. They reverse better if the weight is on the rearward axle more than the front

I remember a wurth rep coming into a garage I was working in and showing us a big multi compartment case filled with lots of various screws,bolts,nuts,washers etc. and shaking it upside down in front of everyone to show how good the case was and the lid flew open emptying the contents out on the ground

Easy fix thread them on a bootlace!

I find the longer the trailer (single or twin axle) the easier it is to reverse

Don't even bother trying to reverse one of the little Erde type trailers

That's criminal, tungsten is not easily produced nor abundant. Sods. Oh well they're worth a pretty penny, what brand are they?

I have exactly the same Epco, gets in the way all the time, are they really any good? Mine leaks from the pump, I keep thinking of replacing it with a cheapy fold up.

I also have an Epco, it is a pain to store and to transport BUT when you need an engine crane nothing else really comes close

I reckon the A-frame drawbar type with the turning axle which are the worst to reverse, you think you have it and then it all goes wrong in a second. Especially if you have a two of them coupled.

When I first had dealings with them I went to one of their flat shares over Earls Court way. I'd never seen anyone crack an egg direct onto the bread of a sandwich toaster. A skill I acquired thereafter though.
