Also consider what a bad actor might do. Never mind the law, there are criminals in the world. Why do criminals do what they do? Usually because of money or ideological ideas, mostly money.

My last word (promise). Data = money. Whether used legally, illegally or questionably is irrelevant, there is money to be made from it. If you know this and accept it that’s fine. I choose not to.

yup all my neighbors and most folk around dont know anything about me. no name on van not in telephone book mainly pay cash for everything and give an unused email addy ive seen what information is being used just by getting a credit check done on a few folkit even tell;s you who lives in the street how many folk and if married. what there incomes are and what white goods they buy and a lot more besides

I hesitate to ask but... where are the doctors that are being sold to USA investors? And, hedging my bet somewhat, even if the US investors held some stock in UK GPs (I'm reaching here...) how would that absolve them of GDPR requirements and allow them to sell patient records to anyone and everyone?

just one problem the younger generation are the worst

many have been sanctioned for it and when its been pointed out to them what was signed by them by there agreement to the jobcenter adviser there comment is always the same i didnt agree to that next question is did you read the document before signing it

no as i wanted to get out there and i wanted my money!

its the same with facebook and app games they allow without ever reading a damn thing as they want it plain and simply

websites and apps are the worst they dont use clear and precise comments on what is bein used instead its dumped in a load of jargon and muddled up it would take a data solicitor to point it out properly

just about same everywhere else if the truth is known

I do it on companies and people all the time, then we decide if we will give them credit or charge them upfront

Possibly because its true and because it was all over the media at the time, and possibly because it was the first and only (to date) police force sold off and this alarmed even the police themselves, if you read Hansard you will find huge discussions in the House of Lords about it.
