Labour were no better if your bringing politics into this. NHS is too big, mismanaged and half of the patients have avoidable lifestyle diseases. GPs earn far too much and most of them are little good anyway.

I always wonder what the nefarious things are, that they could do with the data?

Target you with spam, annoying phonecalls, targeted adverts, and nastiest recently, bot accounts with spurious news stories, targeted to you and designed to alter your opinion on Brexit, for example. Cambridge analytica are masters of this and raked in millions from Brexit, paid for mainly by Russia. No thanks.
