A few random stainless jobs

This is an ally job not stainless but can go in here, its a base for a shed that is going to stand on a sloping patio, made in sections for easy handling and transport. all from 2" x 2" x 10swg box section

Fit some gussets inside to stop it flexing, these are autogenously welded with the tig.

Now, I have not tried that. I did not know that you could do that you know. Very neat.

Something to try next time I get the Tig out. Which looks like it could be pretty soon with this evenings announcement!

Messing about day today so knocked this up just for something to do,

Made from M20, M16, and an M10 nuts with defluxed 10swg electrodes for the legs, all stainless of course.

Small no frills job today, a wheeled frame to make a food machine a bit easier to move,

Its actually a sausage filler, this is it fitted, pic taken in the customers workshop.

Just a couple of small jobs. Decking brackets, some anti theft hand sanitizer stands and the last one is a fire pit.
All from 316 and tiged welded.

Another no frills job, just knocked up from what I could find on the rack

Its to mount this vacuum pump along side a machine, I expect the next job will be a stainless sheet metal cover to go over it,

Another ornament, much more fun than proper work,
All stainless of course, M8 nuts, a dome nut for the centre, the stem is a 10swg arc welding rod, leaves are a flat washers with a bend and the base is a laser cut disc formed into a dome on the flypress,

As I expected, got asked to make a cover for the Vac pump above, 1.5mm stainless, the ends are tigged on

Then make up some switch brackets, these are 5mm thick and fabricated rather than bent.

Thought I would try alternative to the nut based flower above, so made one from washers,

The youngster has now outgrown it and I was asked to covert it into something useful rather than dump it so here it is, a folding hop up / steps for his garage,

A few hours work and converted this......

into this, all stainless of course, the top will have a wooden or plastic shelf screwed on it as a tool platform

A little hop up made today, 2" x 2" aluminium box section for the frame and the adjustable feet are made from stainless with a bit of rubber sheet glued underneath to stop it skidding around, for use outside so not too much finishing needed on this one

Another ally frame, this is a base for one of those cycle storage boxes, the customer wanted to raise it of the ground a bit, and have some adjustment to cope with a not very level floor,

The adjustable feet are made from stainless steel,

That’s the Axminster saw, takes a little bit of setting up and a really good blade to make it a good saw.
