Anyone into jigsaws?

Of the 3-D variety.

Yesterday, overcome with guilt, I ventured into the far reaches of the cave to unearth the boxes containing the parts of my Quorn cutter/grinder. I'd forgotten [in my defence it's been a looong time since I clapped eyes on them ] just how many there are.

I've now got them spread over several spaces in the shed to force myself to crack on and try to make sense and a complete machine out of them. Some are easily identified but others...... I checked that the motor works so that's a start.







I'm clearly going to have to spend time reading the Quorn book I have, to see if I can make sense of it all - especially how NOT to have bits left over when I think it's finished.

I may be gone some little time.....

I was looking at the Hemmingway kits, looks a great tool, well worth the effort putting it together.

Made some progress with the grinder, it's slow but that's all right...I can do slow.

I'm now wondering if I should reverse process and go back to the pile of bits [after taking multiple pics, of course] so that I can paint all the parts where appropriate? Perhaps I'll crawl on and get it working, then I can return to it as a project in its own right at a later date.....i.e. never.

That box of bits sold for £420 at auction end . Makes me wonder what mine would fetch 'as is'.
