I understand disruption to businesses due to C19 but I'm getting fed up with DVLA at the moment. My daughter applied for her provisional licence and DVLA claimed up to a 6 week wait. No problem. So after 8 weeks having heard nothing I check online. Status says "Still awaiting application form". So I worry that the form has got lost etc. and its not clear what the next step is - do you apply again or will this confuse the system? Look around the web and other people complaining its taking much longer so decide to leave it. Anyway 11 weeks later, her licence appears. No harm done just a customer left in the dark for that time.
Today I get my tax reminder for the car. I decide to go online to renew it even though its not due for another month. Put in the details - can't find the MOT - can't proceed. I know the car has an MOT which is nearly almost up, so I go on the other .gov site to see what that reports - yes - car has MOT that expires when I think it will !!! DVLA appears to have contact phone numbers to report/ resolve this - called them and they all go nowhere - tell you the obvious and then hang up.

Anyone else had these sort of issues recently?
