Octoprint? Works great if it is, and some of the plugins are really good.
That's the plan.Octoprint? Works great if it is, and some of the plugins are really good.
Not teaching you to suck eggs, heard of this lot?Restoring it, going to sand / media blast and repaint, as with the moggy minor and other bits.
Waiting for the workshop 'master plan' to come together, nearly there...
Same board as meThat's the plan.
I've also got a 3.5" GPIO touchscreen for it, but need to do some reading up. Never used a Pi before, and my printer runs a BTT SKR Mini E3 board for an extra non-standard challenge. I can foresee some hair loss on the horizon..
Would you be able to point me in the direction of your - Supplier etc - control panel and remotes for my mancave extension roller shutter.Today I acquired a new backlit keyboard for the cave pooterletters/numbers had rubbed off the old keys and I am not qwerty literate

You can even get an app for the octoprint that uses the camera to detect bird nests and stop the printSame board as me
I also fitted a touch screen but rarely use it, I just use the octoprint web interface on my phone or pc. I fitted a pi camera and can do all the time lapse stuff but it makes printing take an age as the print head gets out of the way when the picture is taken. Looks very cool though. The camera is useful to keep an eye on the print, saved me from wasting time with snapped filaments and birds nests a few times.

Interesting... looks good in pictures and spec sheet anyway! be good to know what you think quality wise. I always thought Ridgid stiff was Chinese, but haven't had much experience of their stuff apart from strap wrenches.A wee 100mm vice for the welding table; made (in my tiny yet overactive mind) by a lederhosen clad Fräulein in Germany - a Peddinghaus sold under the Ridgid name in the UK.
That's handy to know.
Anything I need to watch out for with setting it up for the BTT board?
I figured the display would be helpful for setting up as this wil be my first octoprint setup, but I'm sure I can find other uses for it.

I wonder where ridgid stillsons are made now
Is that a 5A?This arrived this morning. There are a couple of issues with it, hot starting and it runs hot, but otherwise pretty good for a 50 year car.

And this arrived this afternoon. Hopefully I won't need it for the above.
