VGC SKF Puller
I had to modify a cheap chrome plated Chinese one the other day to fit in a gap so I thought I better replace it with a proper puller that will take some abuse if needed.
Very hard to find skf stuff used but it’s so well made.
£85 off eBay, very lightly used.I had to do the same and lucky it worked before it failed, had the ground down claws failed I wouldn't have cared too much and gone for another.
What did that tasty SKF set you back?

You really need double pole isolation on everything so you can isolate them one at a time, Id be amazed if you can find the fault with a clamp meter though
I friggin love the SKF stuff, especially the mechanical pullers! Good price for a good size!VGC SKF Puller

Can they be used to drive an auger for digging holes? (I'm guessing not, since there's no clutch?)
Course they can. Just make sure you have someone videoing it when you try.![]()
