First things i look at are washing machines kettles and immersion heaters, basically anything with an element.

I swapped a vice for this box, it was full of old Britool sockets, I’ve made a good BSW and AF set out of them, the rest can go off as is. The tin I want to keep - I have one already and they’re really great. Stack easily, huge handle which doesn’t dig into your fingers.

I had to modify a cheap chrome plated Chinese one the other day to fit in a gap so I thought I better replace it with a proper puller that will take some abuse if needed.

Very hard to find skf stuff used but it’s so well made.

Another vote for appliances, fridge/freezers, electric showers, just because you cant see appliances leaking water doesnt mean it isnt
You really need double pole isolation on everything so you can isolate them one at a time, Id be amazed if you can find the fault with a clamp meter though

I had to do the same and lucky it worked before it failed, had the ground down claws failed I wouldn't have cared too much and gone for another.

£85 off eBay, very lightly used.

I’m just looking at a Sykes thin jaw kit on Zoro though, but even with the 20% code it is expensive.

Yep it’s lovely stuff. I would like to get a few more sizes or some of the handsfree ones.
It’s very well thought out. Like that one of yours, super heavy duty.

the Sykes stuff is no doubt good but the fit and finish is a way off these. Stupidly I missed out on a 30-60 internal puller on eBay. I put 150 bid on and it went for 175. Cheap.

A few things first a little haul from the car boot a fortnight ago including the chequer plate all for less than a tenner

last saturday a 42" signet top chest ,decent ish condition for what I paid

I can fit everything that was in the in the lid and top three drawers of the 26" snap on in the lid of this ! I'll make a larger frame to sit underneath and utilize the pull out trays with a side cupboard. I'll now sell the snap on top box and roll cab.
and today picked up a gasket set for the ingersoll rand type A pump

A differential. Spent an hour working in standing water, lying on my back on bits of plywood to get it out, horrible! The things I do to help people… next up, new seals, gaskets and a good and thorough cleanup.

That's going to help move the lathe, mill, band saw and the rest of my accumulated toolidge, without hiring things in the future.

Useable bed 1.75 x 3.1 m.

Tows and reverses a treat.

What speed is the drill? What speed is a typical post borer? My 30s of jazz hands suggests 600rpm and 50rpm as reasonable answers to these questions. Draw your own conclusions or find a 12:1 reduction box.
