What happened to Microsoft saying Windows 10 was the last variant and that there would only small frequent tweak's rather than major operating system renewals at a cost to the user. Lied to again. But its ok, the punter will pay.

Microsoft say it will be a free upgrade for people currently on Windows 10.

It genuinely doesn't look that different (they have hopefully learned their previous lessons) so I see little reason not to upgrade when it comes out.

Its supposed to be more suited to the touch screen stuff, plus 11 is more than 10 so its better

If you don't like it or want to pay, then switch to apple or Linux.

Having used all 3 I will be sticking with Microsoft for now, I use Linux on my Pis for fun but no chance of any serious work at the minute

or go down from 10 but beaware they wont be supported but that makes no differece to be honest just as good before 10 came out and still just as good when 11 is released

get a good firewall and be net savi when online always have quick install software like acronis

Fair enough but we'll see. Strange that where MS is concerned, the expression 'there's no such thing as a free lunch' comes to mind.
