me and my son have been making this today.
We made one a few year back which was a heroic failure we've learned a bit since then so fingers crossed nomore ducklings.

Best of luck, I used pitch back in the late 80's.

Yes it worked, but "liberated" tar from road works was better.

Ive used the bitumen emulsion before it works fine the last one i made was water tight but mega unstable it made for some great footage of me upside down in the river

Lovely! I went to watch coracle racing at Ironbridge some years back, after it was over they all sailed off down river using umbrellas as sails, a wonderful sight!

Yeah i've heard that's an active area for coracle activities...........Not much here in Northumberland however
