Stuck my curved bits together. Several cockups were made but some learning happened. 186A for tacking and 110A with filler. When I forgot to lower the amps, I melted 2 of the joints off.

Guesses what it was supposed to be? Not a kitchen impliement

I've been told I cant bolt a maniquin head to the wall, so it is my attempt at copying and improving upon one of these, while allowing air flow/drying after wet weather - reason for avoiding wood.

However it seems a 5" hemisphere is a bit small and Im aware the bars might put pressure on certain bits of the foam. It needs another think.

Some days ago collected a Castolin Tig machine.
Seller promise me that nobody else was xx around with it to repair.
Xxx up pre service specialist on that one.
Anyway it is back to work now.

Just finished to repair a Bosch GSH 11 E
Made people dance down the street ,equis j.balvin Nicky Jam on my stereo while driving to the parts store.

In the afternoon I'll take the Bosch hammer to the customer , get paid .
And then to another town to check an electrical layout


Yesterday I've spoken to my ex driving instructor who is president of a no profit association which takes food , clothes and little bit of help through words to clochards .
I'll start to help them.

Took me a second to work out that Clorchards wasn't orchards (sometimes my dyslexia amazes me!) and indeed is a french word for begger!

Didn't know ,I thought that was an universal word to say what in Italian literally translates in "roofless"

Nothing like as good, but with a couple of jigs, the wet wheel can straighten up wood tools and Hss drills. My 40 year old cheepy bench grinder is getting a bit rough and getting fresh wheels would be close in price to the new one.
The slow wet wheel is wider than it looks in the pics

I have the Lidl version, looks identical except it is green. The plastic trough is a bit wobbly but it works well keeping edges nice and cool.

Happy day. I finally got the contents of my storage unit relocated, and temporary electric service ( extension cord ) to a couple of machines. So today I finished up a support washer for a motorbike mirror, which fits in the end of the handlebar on my old BSA. Without a supporting end piece that fits into the tail end of the handlebar, the mirror has a tendency to shift position or interfere with the throttle; don't know why an end fitting isn't provided with these mirrors for a proper installation.

I am sick to death of painting. That's the second lot of black steelwork, and I've painted my brother's new welding table. Everything had red oxide as well.

The cheap spray gun is giving me grief with unpredictable air pressures too. It's working, but getting binned at the end.

I'll pull the table frame and top out tonight and spray the topsides of the steelwork... fingers crossed last session!

Hay bales. Lots of em. Not so many in this pic but I thought you lot would be more interested in seeing some of the scenery than just the hay bales. I'd rather be welding, of course, but I always help out with haymaking, picking cherries, grapes, chestnuts, olives, ...
