Aye only took the old one out today, then the heavens opened!

I will strip the pump for a look, but in the meantime fit the replacement one tomorrow.

I have a stainless steel wing fitting kit and new captive J nuts so will get them fitted when I put the wing back on.

Gave birth to an ABS pump - it is out!

The wing was off in the last 3 years so I knew it would not be too bad. I am in a lot of pain standing and the wing off meant I could do more of the job from my wheely chair. I saw on the net that you can slacken the master cylinder to get enough space to squeeze it out.

Replacement pump fitted, did not get round to putting the wing back on as a biker friend (Mr Velocette) called in for a chat.

Am in Glasgow Royal Infirmary tomorrow for a biopsy, so hope to get it finished on Saturday.

Good news, just went a test drive with the new (second hand) abs pump - works perfect and no fault codes.

Just need to get my wing back on now, though I managed to break the bonnet release cable by over tightening it, so new one on its way.

The brackets for the front grill had seen better days, so new stainless ones fitted.

Ended up doing a bit of a tidy up, painting the panel above the radiator and the mounting for the aircon rad, plus all non structural fasteners replaced with stainless and new captive nuts.

Brakes and traction control all good now plus new bonnet release cable fitted. Surprised I can drive it ok with no feeling in my legs. Tried wheeling myself about from the seat of one of my motorbikes today too and that felt fine, so a wee ride is on the cards

Then the abs, traction control and hill descent won't work and it will fail mot if those lights illuminated on dash.

I have that exact problem on my 2010 mitsi l200, bought it with traction lights on, put delphi on it (clone) showed clock spring thingy faulty, got new and fitted as per instructions, went to reset steering angle sensor...this put the abs light on and hand brake light, months later truck still of the road as mot is out and despite googling etc etc getting no where with it , apparantly the one thing I found is some clone readers actually cause the fault
