Good to know! I've got a pair in my "toolbox of duplicates and things I never use", didn't know what they were for but I'll dig them out when mum gets around to reupholstering the dining chairs.

I use them for extracting plastic clips on the Subaru. To hell with mashing my fingers on them! I usually end up replacing them too, they’re so poorly made.

After being on sale for 6 months my reupholstered dining chairs finally sold yesterday

I bought a whole cow hide fir the seat squabs. Was quite fun to do

As everyone else has said they are good for removing nails, but also good for crimping the ears on these pipe clips.

As everyone else has said they are good for removing nails, but also good for crimping the ears on these pipe clips.

They are good to over crimp the ears on those crimps

And screws are ‘wrinkly nails’!

I have a couple of pairs from my dad. One is as original, the other I’ve reground for lemon clips.

@Parm didn’t know about the ball end. I use it for nail pulling but never knew the ball had a use.
