Paid for my new lathe today, sale was already agreed but hadn't had chance to get cash out. These also arrived today, a brand new old stock Bison 250mm 4 jaw, and what I assumed would be a chinese backplate in L2 mounting, how wrong was I, its a brand new old stock Pratt Burnerd one, its all wrapped in rust inhibitor paper so pics are from the eBay add. After finding out yesterday that the lathe (Colchester Triumph Mk1.5) was a special model with the L2 mount not the usual L1, and therefore a bigger spindle bore, and also has the optional induction hardened bed ways I'm like a cat with a bucket of cream!

It makes brass go copper coloured, i think the citric attacks the zinc.

Have a read of these instructions. Just use citric in place of Deox-C:

I put 28 600x600 council slabs in the back of a Vauxhall Frontera once as they were "going in the skip" otherwise, nearly bent the car in half

Yeah its a decent chunk of a welder, I'm pretty sure it'll do me fine, and bought it from the dealer 5 miles away so easy enough if there is any issues.

Gets worse. I lifted cleaned and stacked em all Monday ready to go back down again.

Cement is rare as rocking horse poo and getting mot and sand turned into. Major exercise.

I'm sure the colour code for Lorch is similar to Bosch Rexroth which is traffic orange, I believe

I literally just googled rexroth purple! Not on the Hagglunds hydraulic systems we bought, lol
We matched the radial piston motors colour with the steelwork and brackets etc, and I remember thinking, that colour looks like Lorch colour. Sad I know.

Anyway that grinder doesn't look white, it looks green
