Could have probably got it cheaper online but I prefer the fact that if it breaks it's much easier to take it back then mess around posting it.

My OH has a mannequin in her craft room for altering clothes.

I got severe earache from her for glueing a skellington's skull on it and doing an impression of Rigsby with it .

If I'm honest I find it very satisfying to produce a radius by hand but I really ought to get with this modern age.

I bought a larger iron surface plate to make lapping larger plates easier and the guy also had these, so I made a token offer and bought them home. Already stripped and mostly de-rusted they are not nearly as bad as they look. The screw is seized in the Nippy and I don't want to hurt it so I've dumped it in citric acid to try and eat out some of whetever is binding it up.

I'll post pics. The Nippy should come up very nice but the Abwood has a good bit of idiot rash. They'll both be fine when I'm done with them though.

Fresh pair of climbing shoes, took a lot of trying on to find a pair just uncomfortable enough that I can believe they'll wear in and become comfortable.

They're Scarpa Instinct Lace, we'll see if they make a difference compared to my old Decathalon beginner shoes.
