Crevice. That's a dirty word.
on the forum i tend to write as though i was speaking in person, often using slang and everyday shortcuts. There's no need for any formality and the grammar and sleeping police dont really need to be involved. I agree with some of the observations made that it can be off putting for some folk.
Apart from this I do see through work that folk, particularly youngsters have a very low ability to string together a coherent and grammatically correct sentence. The art of writing seems to be a fading skill
Then there's the issue of context. Get this wrong and it can change the meaning of what you are trying to say
Hi, BIB. I think that's because they have been the subjects of some of the latest teachingexperimentsmethods and the majority of reading they do is social media rather than proper books.
Cor, I sound like an old grump, don't I?

Hi Arther,Can I ask who added the second line after I put Really !( as in I cant believe some one would reply with such ignorance to the op after they had nt yet got a reply)
appreciated .
Ahah, thankyou , that makes complete sence, I am not the best on a lap top , and this one second hand is worse than my original due to a sticky space bar and couple of keys. cheers ArtherHi Arther,
If I understand you correctly, it might be that you typed in 'Really' in the OP's quote. The second line was part of the OP's original entry (I think).
Or I've got that completely wrong!

I regularly see Chester Draws for sale on faceacheI have to admit, "draws" vs "drawers" really does grate with me.
But, I probably wouldn't pull someone out on it.

I can't blame them.Cringeworthy.
Folk constantly amaze me, in every regard. Rarely in a good way, either.
