Picked this up. Untested, as machine had been disconnected from the mains.
I’m still looking for a manual from a similar era, probably 1960s.
The manual that @Agroshield kindly linked me too is for a later grinder and there are some differences.
It appears to have a plain bearing spindle. Looking at the sight glass there appears to be no oil in the wheel head
Machine covered in grime, oil and grinding dust. The extractor obviously wasn’t working or wasn’t used.
No coolant hooked up.
Has a J&S magnetic chuck but it needs a good clean.
My first tasks are to order some spindle oil, namely Mobil Velocite No.6 thinned with 10% Kerosene. Then order hydraulic oil, unsure of grade required.
Also need seals for the knobs/levers that control the table. They’ve gone hard and brittle.
A parts list would be great is anyone has one.
