Got some new Ali heat sinks kicking around in the garage if there of use.
Think they were for an oil cooler on a 4t pit bike. Sent to me in error years back.

@eLuSiVeMiTe think I should be ok, space inside the electronics box is a bit tight, how big is your heatsink?
According to the data sheet if you don't have a heatsink then it needs to be derated. The blurb says IIRC 400*450 3mm plate but I don't have anywhere near that, maybe 200 *250 but even derated the new PSU has more output than the stock one
Have also ordered 2x 120mm Noctua fans to supplement the smaller heatsink, these should be loads quieter than the stock screamers and will see what the temperature is when in use. I was thinking about cutting up some CPU heatsinks and adding these if needed, have a few kicking about

Unless they have served their time as a plant electrician or fitter most sparks don't have a clue about wiring electric motors.
Where I worked some of the fitters had done an electrical & electronics qualification in the local college but most of the course was about house wiring.
They had to learn most of what was actually useful for their job from us time served fitters without a qualification to our names!

New watch day for me!, This Bulova Red Devil diver reissuecame by Special Delivery, Bought it from TZUK sales corner having missed it twice already!!
It was bought new in December 2020, I'm at least the third owner!!
It won't be going anywhere now though!, It came with the original inner and outer box with paperwork and spare links for £145

Hopefully there was not a fuse fitted to the plug !!!There's potential for someone to strip the ends of the cable - plug it in and you have a murder weapon....

I get that, I really do... this was the problem with these contractors... but two issues for me:
1. if they don't know what they are doing, they should ask.
2. common sense would have shown them that they were wiring a dead short, alarm bells would have rung, and they wold have asked.
Again, I believe it comes down to two words... brain dead
