Don't forget the warm water evaporation trick to see the exact level of the liquid.I haven't read the whole thread so it might have been mentioned but the first thing I would do is get the bathroom scales out and see just how empty the empty bottle really is.
Cold weather can cause the auto valves to switch over far too soon..
It seems they have messed you about a bit so now its your turn. Wait until you get a date for the removal. Stick a hose in the top and add a bit of weight to it.Well I had a surprise today, an Avanti service engineer turned up to do the annual inspections on my tank.
I pointed out that it is empty, disconnected, and that Avanti have refused to have anything to do with it. So, he said, we need to get this bottle out of here. He measured up and he reckons their 19m crane should reach far enough to lift it out and away.
I did mention I had planned to cut it up, and he pointed out it is their tank and I can’t do that, as well as the obvious risks.
So, a couple of weeks and it should be gone.
I shan’t be holding my breath.....
This is a giant 2000 litre tank, with the pipes disconnected, so it’s definitely empty.I haven't read the whole thread so it might have been mentioned but the first thing I would do is get the bathroom scales out and see just how empty the empty bottle really is.

And watch their crane collapse the drains in my driveway. Nah, I think not.It seems they have messed you about a bit so now its your turn. Wait until you get a date for the removal. Stick a hose in the top and add a bit of weight to it.
Video it anyway and post on herebut video it if any damage make them pay for it

Ask to see the load calcs for the crane feet if they are on your land, and make sure they use the extra load boards or what ever they are called to spread the load over a larger area. And watch their crane collapse the drains in my driveway. Nah, I think not.
