Is there a house-friendly soft door closer?

I recently fitted four new doors downstairs and did such a good job that they swing perfectly, until they slam into the jamb

If it was an office I'd fit some of these:

But these are far too ugly to fit in the house.

Then I thought of these but I doubt they are heavy duty enough for a heavy door, being intended for drawers / cabinet doors:

Is there anything similar to these that would work for a ~30KG door?

I put one of those ugly things between the kitchen and the living room as the kids and dogs were forever leaving the door open, wife hates it, I love it, thinking about a second one from kitchen to hallway as kids seem incapable of closing doors and its the middle of winter.

What about swapping the hinges for rising ones fitted to help the door open instead of close. Would be a cheap option to try anyway.

I snagged a dozen of the things from a council block that was due for demolition. That was 40 years ago and I've still got half of them.
Used a few of them over the years, with the latest going on to the workshop connecting door. It closes smoothly and quietly, getting rid of the problem of leaving the thing ajar.

Rising hinges lift the door as they open, then the weight of the door going down the slope helps it to close. The only way to make then assist with opening the door is to fit them upside down, whence the door will immediately drop off the pins and jam on the floor.

We have the big ugly one at the top of the page, they are the dogs danglers. Can be adjusted to slow close and with enough force to latch. Best of both worlds.
