It is, of course, only a curling bar, it'll probably never see 40kg in normal use but I had to have a play.

Quick job for a builder today, a couple of 400 dia concrete moulds, just 3mm mild steel tigged together

The place my pal occasionally worked in as a family helper had concrete casting rings as a single strip welded up so the top edge was 3 mm smaller than the bottom edge they ground & polished up to give an almost invisible joint . Then tack welded to a base plate at the smallest diameter . They had dozens of them for making round cast concrete slabs for lawn paths . Being in tray form they were filled via a chute of slightly damp fine mix whilst on a vibrating table to give a lovely smooth face . They also fibreglass inserts for the rings they'd made so it looked like the end of a log n the cast face .

Why not make them as " Y" 's in solid rod so every one of them can take a big blade & weld on a bent "U " or a cross piece ( bolts to the wall ? ) near the base to take the cable coils.

That would take me far longer and look Pretty pants I think. These have the logo, cable hook, consumables tabs. I can cut one of these, clean it up and fold it in about 30 minutes.

Brad what's your secret to keep your grinders clean ?
I have your same metabo , and despite the fact I'm an hobbyist and clean often my tools I can't really make antivib handle shine like on yours .
It looks like it never worked but it did because the scratches on the gearbox

Actually yesterday .
The day before I've picked up a maintenance kit for Milwaukee PLH32QEX , I've had it already completely disassembled ,so I've took only 2 hours to clean it all , replaces all the rubber parts ,antivibs, orings , gasket, bearing grommet ,carbon brushes , applied new fresh grease (two different types for different parts which needs lubrication )
New stretching screws .
New quick change flange (fixtec part )
Cleaned it up using brake cleaner and a rag.
80 euros
38 parts
35 euros profit.

Then something happened in the evening.
After the second letter to her I've probably hit the target .
I've had to move my car to another parking.
While parking I've seen her trying to find the courage to go into my alley ,I was little bit far , she started watching around and go away.
I didn't manage to get closer to talk her ,she was already pretty far and since she's really shy ,I didn't want to force the things.
But I heard in my mind "hurry boy , she's waiting there for you"
I'll knock on her door one of those days

- compressed air gun, quick blast over them every now and then, then a wee wipe down with WD40, works fine...

No checked there and Iv none of the back of any . It’s basically just 2 40mm strips across the top and bottom and screwed together to make one piece . Reason for doing it is makes after care a lot easier for the customers they can pop out the panel to repaint and varnish

Made a bench grinder stand thé other day, boss said, how long will it take? So painting it wasn't an option, too busy at thé moment.

Then continued with installing 2x24 volt pure sine inverters. Thé 24 volt sides about finished, got to go over thé 240 volt systèm, it's not quite how it should bé.

One runs a diesel conventional household central heating system.

The other a household 220 volt fridge.

All in a 12m canal boat.

I reckon it must be the season of the odd job, knocked these out today for a walk in customer, a couple of trestles to make a desk cum bench in his garage, a bit of miggin for a change, I knew those offcuts of 40 x40 ERW would come in handy for something.
