Plus, real dirty nails go all the way around.

Get that a bit as I have excema to boot which is annoying when it gets all tangled in stuff.

Yeah this is the best my hands have looked in a while usually bathed in diesel and heavy fuel oil and black in comparison to the pasty white of the rest of me.

Went in with bad gravel rash once. Trainee nurse was determined she was going to scrub the dirt off. Older nurse poppd her head in after 10 minutes and said “you’ll have to take the skin off to get that clean, my husbands the same, just bandage it”

Reminds me of when I ran the knotted wire wheel up my face.

She was spending bloomin' ages trying to lift all the little flaps of skin to clean under them.

So I politely told her to stop messing about and just cut the damn things off.
