Solid wood floor laying.

I have to soon lay a large amount of solid oak wood flooring in my house, the problem is I have to span a suspended floor with floorboards and a screed floor. I'm laying ply over the floorboards to give a better flatter surface and the screed has been covered with self leveling compound.
The levels match but I'm not 100% sure on how to fix the new floor down. Can I nail the floor over the wooden flooring using a proper flooring nailer and then glue to rest down on the screed part?
I've glued down a previous solid wood floor using Mapei 2 part adhesive and it was very ggood will it be ok to mix the 2 ways of fixing?
Here's a photo of the lounge before carpeting but it's the same as the kitchen diner.

You glue it down. The boards usually have adhesive already on them

No, I've been looking at the Bostitch, Primatech, Porta Nailer etc. What I forgot to ask was what length nails to use! Do you nail onto the joists or can you nail anywhere along the boards? I'm pretty sure there's nothing too close to the surface but I really don't want to nail through a pipe!

I have solid bamboo floors I've layer.
I used an adhesive underlay, this insulates the floor and makes installation quite easy

If the main boards are well secured you might be ok gluing the lot?

I though those sort of floors were left floating on the underlay to cope with expansion?

My friend has a floor in his kitchen. It's fixed at the sides by the bespoke fitted kitchen thing. The floor is like a skate park if they turn the central heating off in that room as it sucks up the moisture and has nowhere to expand to.

I would have the skirting boards off before laying and leave a slight expansion gap around the floor. When complete put skirtings back on.

if its proper oak boards stack it in the room where its got to be fitted for a few weeks to acclimatize to the temperature of room before fitting. as said take skirting off and leave a 10mm gap all round for expansion

I always tell my wife you have to season wallpaper, I can generally get away with it for a month or two.
I laid an oak T & G floor in our conservator, secret nailed it through the tongues, with a gap around the edge. It’s been down probably 15 years now & not moved at all.

If the existing timber floor is staying undr the new floor then glue it down too, don't nail, especially if there are any services under there

i fitted it to two rooms and hallway but didn’t use anything to stick it down and it’s been solid, doesn’t move about at all underfoot. They are much smaller than the room you fitting it to though!
A word of warning about expansion though, I had them stored in the house for 3 month (packaged) and I had bother with expansion. I know your supposed to leave a gap around the edge and either use edging strip or under the skirting but I didn’t want to take it off (probably been on 50 year) and I didn’t want that horrible edging strip. So when fitted I did it in a way so the boards were pulled apart (if that makes sense) and boarded up to the skirting. About 2 week after fitting it had expanded to such a degree that it had risen in the middle because it had nowhere to go. Took the last row out and end boards on one side and cut 1/4” off or so and it’s been golden since, no gaps round the edges and doesn’t move.
A room that size you’ll want a good gap round the edge, it’s surprising how much it’ll grow! Biggest problem with natural products... if your using permanent fixings I’d only do it in the middle, anything near the edge will pull out. Even flexible adhesive might struggle...
if I did it again, I’d unpack the boards too and let them air.

Didn’t say anything on these. Either way, packaged or unpackaged 3 month should have been plenty of time...
