Might be bread, but there was no way I was eating any of that rice......it stank too.

I retained the pack but the rice is in the bin. I couldn't find an email address for them so had to fill in Lidl's proforma [couldn't get the pics to upload there :rolleyes:

] and offered to post the outer pack to them or Trading Standards for investigation. I also reported that I'd mentioned it on the internet, given the media reports back in 2018.

It'll be interesting to see what their reaction is, I have the contact details of the CEO should it become necessary...... :whistle:

Today I acquired a Christmas present to myself - a couple of beautiful handmade bookmarks from one of my favourite youtubers. Ordered these back in November and didn't expect them to make it over from the antipodes in time for Christmas, so it was a nice surprise when they showed up today.

try TWITTER companies hate bad press and they cannot remove it from TWITTER either, has worked for several people I know when confronting big companies

This is the site for access to the 'top man' in a Company. I've used it in the past [as has a friend] to good effect - really gets results, the top guy doesn't like being bothered by the hoi poloi and rattles cages further down the food chain....
