3M 23self amalgamating tape for a proper waterproof joint that doesn't harden and crack
Except the 3M branded tapes that Lidl do from time to time3M seems to be one of those brands that still stands out in everything they do. Their stuff is never the cheapest but you know it will always be good.
As an aside to the op. The Last batch of self amalgamation tape was a generic Chinese special, worked fine except it seems that mice like it. I patched up the binzel mb36 swivel with it, hadn't used it for a couple of weeks, and the tape was half hanging off... Chewed up, don't know if there's something in the mix that attracts them or what... First time I've seen that. Bear in mind the gun was on the top of the welder not lying on the floor.... Bizarre...
In your very best Dell Boy accent I trust. When on a French campsite someone was asking for duct tape & I said “Oh, you want to ask for tape du canard” caused a bit of a laugh
I think insulation tape is a bit of a misnomer- electrician’s tape would be more appropriate.
pulling cables through tied on to the end of rods and insulating live cable ends and use it with bogroll into sticky plastersMore the point of view of what you use it for, not insulation really.
