I have an old Clarke 105EN, I have only used it with flux cored 0.8mm wire.
I was thinking about buying a new mig to use gas but thought I should try the old Clarke first as it may be good enough for my car work.
it has about 40 cm of white plastic gas line coming out the machine, how do I connect that to a gas bottle?
What parts will I need and where to buy any parts? I know I will need a gas bottle and regulator (get a bottle with built in regulator?) how about connecting the thin clarke gas line to a common size gas line, what gas line should I buy?
Will the Clarke be ok on 0.6 and gas to do car panel work? With the 0.8 flux cored it is difficult to weld car bodywork.
Thanks
