Clarkson Autolock chuck & collets

I've been trying to get a feel for the likely value of this Clarkson Autolock chuck + bits and have been looking on the 'Bay in an attempt to come up with some sort of figure, before I go to the 'Bay/Gumtree/homeworkshop etc - but asking prices seem to be all over the place. [I know the obvious answer is "what anyone is prepared to pay" ].

These are they [I forgot to take a pic of the related spanner, but it's damned cold & wet outside and I'm not going out to the cave again... ]



BTW, the wording on the chuck reads [faintly] "2MTS 3/8" BSW 8/94"

Anyone have a feel for these sorts of things? [or indeed, are interested]

90 quid up over is about the right price with 10 collets looks in nice condition . probably no 2 mt... id bid u 80 for it if I wanted it it will fit most peoples small mills

As @brightspark says, I think it's MT2 - that would fit the markings on it.

It came with my Amolco mill, but I switched to an ER32 set-up, so it's surplus to requirements and is just taking up [much needed ] space.

I would be interested in that, what would postage cost to East Yorkshire YO25 6EE? I have a couple of clarksons, but very few collets for my harrison, which is int30 taper and also have a Raglan (in bits, but it will get fixed!) which is MT2

I'd have to weight/measure them for a courier quote, I'll get back to you tomorrow if that's OK?
I don't reckon it'll be prohibitive.

Thanks for that, Would be useful as I have just got the vertical head up and running on the harrison, and time approaches when a st of collets would be needed!

Hi Phil, bits are in the 2 - 5kg category in total so Courier [insured] would come to £8 [ish] - hope this helps with any decision to buy. Here's the spanner which has been painted in green to match my Amolco [but not by me]. There are the letter/numbers G 32 on it which you might just be able to make out in the pic?

From browsing the 'Bay they seem to average around the £80 mark with fewer collects, so how about £85 plus courier? [Thanks to @pressbrake1's post above I should probably ask 'dreamer's' price.... ].
