I've got an entry in the Profanisaurus.

New torch, water cooled.
.That's in nice condition, do you remember it from when you were a kid ? If you are going to freshen it up (?), may I suggest that since it was your Dad's, only clean up the rusty unpainted surfaces and simply degrease the rest. I find that the lightly battle scarred tools of my Dad's brings back memories and a smile to my face when I see and use them, which is a good thing.My Dad's.
Would love to know how old.

courtesy of my big sister who was in Lochinver week before last for her 60th birthday:
Had a look and the Cable is marked, 300/500v 60227 IEC 53(HO5VV-F) whatever that means?The problem I’ve got with that is the cable is clearly PVC
H= harmonized cenelec codesHad a look and the Cable is marked, 300/500v 60227 IEC 53(HO5VV-F) whatever that means?
Didn't know it broke down like that, that's really interesting. All I knew was H07RN-f is rubber insulated and very nice to handle.H= harmonized cenelec codes
05=up to 500V rated insulation resistance
VV= can't remember exactly but should be pvc insulation for both wires and cord
F= flexible stranded conductors

Didn't know it broke down like that, that's really interesting.
