Sorry to read that , I'm not the only one here who suffered a lot for kidney stones .
Pain is something subjective,it depends on various factors ,in my case happened to be lucky I practically produce ball bearings , it's quite uncommon for me to kick out a non sferical stone .
Also the way it comes out make the difference ,I do prefer feel bad for a couple hours more than surely damage my tool .
I wait till the pain at the genitals disappear prior to try to eject it .
The first colic can't be forgotten, I don't like doctors,hospital and needles .
The pain was too much ended up having a morphine and Bentelan intervenus drip.
The biggest stone I've kicked out was something like 8mm in diameter ,I would like to forget it .
The specialist at the last control said me to drink at least one litre of water every day and make movement ,we finally know that my stones are composed by calcium oxalate
The situation seems to go well but I'm struggling with this problem probably since I was 7 , and are already almost 2 years since I've discovered that I suffer because this problem.
I'm close to you in this moment I can surely understand how you are feeling , don't bother too much about you'll be fine for two days , someone can even shot to you and you won't feel it (the morphine will work for another day or two in your body)
The first time is always the worst , hopefully it will be also the last but in case you'll have it again don't worry you would be surprised how high your pain feeling would change .
I used to cry just for a small cut prior the colics , after them I've pinched my finger with a prybar ,drilled an hole in the other one ,and eat without problems while having the renal colics ,no pain felt , just understood what was going on .
So don't worry about the pain , just worry about find a good doctor specialized in this things ,I did that and I'm solving the problem .

Mine get excited when you open the tailgate on any of our vehicles, they just jump straight in even if it's not time for walks

They are both collies, love getting out but only 1 of them loves the car

I feel for you! Had them three times and the pain is extreme to say the least! Hope it wasn't too painful to 'pass' Only trouble was, the kidney stones stopped and I ended up with a bladder stone that was 22mm in diameter, suffice to say I could not pass that!! Morphine and me just don't mix

It's a 1920's metal lathe
Someone took it apart removing the gear train ,the half nuts ,the lead screw , everything related to power feed .
And the belt pulley thing

So this one turned out to be faulty and it was sent back to Amazon for a refund.

In steps AliExpress for £88 odd quid delivered to Ireland. Not bad I thought. Output is not as good as the previous model but this suits my needs. Piped through the shed sheeting and currently running on Kero. Awaiting some exhaust wrap and 12v power supply from eBay and Banggood.

So I wee test tonight. Running full tilt for an hour it uses approx 0.24l/hour. I have no idea if that's good or bad, nothing to compare it too.

Some of Igus's finest bushings, along with an adjustable reamer that I never took a photo off.

The original bushings are still available, but they're a touch expensive. The cost of the Igus bushings, and the reamer is still under a quarter of the price of new genuine bushings.

I just had both sides done but through the back for the right with it being 28 mm!

Here's the Cincinati dividing head I bought two weeks ago, got it home today. All good I think, it's a 51/4 inch centre height - the baby. I'd hate to have to lift a big one...

I'm going to guess it's 5in + clearance?
You wouldnt want it scraping on the bed.

<Edit> cincinatti is merkin: the US quote max. diameter on lathes, rather than centre height.
So i'm thinking it's a 10in (plus clearance)

Bonkers... Run out of inserts for a small boring bar. Cheaper to buy 4 boring bars and 10 inserts, delivered faster than a box or one of the boring bars. £13.59.
