You can always set the auction to reject offers below a certain figure.
Not through the message option, Nice little back door

When I bought my carbon road bike on Sphock last year it was £250. Absolute bargain but the guy was moving to a flat soon so he'd listed it cheap. I could see from the adverts that half a dozen people had made offers and he said he'd had loads of hassle with people making stupid offers of £100 and wanting him to bring it round. I paid the full price and he gave me a free bike helmet. Lovely guy and I've been thrilled with the bike - which regularly sells on ebay for £300 plus.
Also last year, I was working on my Saab on the drive when a guy pulls up and shouts through the window that he would take it off me to help me out, 'Help you clear the drive... make some space'. It looks rough but not 'scrap crap' rough lol. I hate the chancers who make out they are doing you a favour. Cheeky sod. He was very persistent and was quite naked that I wasn't interested.
Was he a flasher as well then. Cheeky sod. He was very persistent and was quite naked that I wasn't interested.
that’s heartbreaking to read that we had one in with 250k and drove like a new car
Yea they are cracking cars....it was a manual gearbox too. but from April next year it would cost 12 pounds a day to drive in London so had to go.
Everything had been done on it too...all suspension, brakes, DMF, clutch....long list. Bloke who bought it was very happy and I rather a real person have it than sell it to some cheap skate on ebay who would spend an hour knocking me down on price without having a clue how much stuff had been done on the car.....only to part it out and make thousands on the parts.
I still have my XC70....thats a petrol so allowed in london without getting my pants pulled down.
Talking of bmx and selling. Found that chrome gt in the shed yesterday. I'd forgotten all about it. Still has your name on it if you want ita chap I drink with is a single dad looks after his boy full time, he wanted to get back into bmx so Iv given him one of mine so he can ride with his lad
I’d rather know he’s having fun with his boy and getting out in the fresh air than pocket a few hundred quid selling it
plus Iv someone to ride with now
Sold a defender 110 Waaaaaaay too cheap once as I was getting grief about having too many trucks.
Send me some details, I *may* know of a home for itI have got an old Freelander to sell, its one my manager has run about in for the last five years. He chain-smokes and carts his dog about in it, its absolutely heaving so for a laugh it's going out on the drive next week with an honest description about it in the window. It will be interesting to see if there are any takers
