Admitting you don't know the River Trent and then claiming your understanding (assumption) is it is a flat river.

Time to bow out now it is becoming an argument again with the same people trying incitement tactics.
What you’ll notice from my quote from Wikipedia is that the [1] at the end denotes that it has a reference which you are able to go and look up. I look forward to seeing you your references to back up what you claim - I can’t find any examples of working thorium power plants nor any studies about major hydro schemes planned for the Trent (I understand there is a small “in river” scheme in place at Beeston Weir but they don’t publish any data about the power they produce), but certainly not enough to power a large proportion of Nottingham/derby
