I have one of those foot switches. They are pretty good. Screwed mine to a small sheet of ply. I use it for my Rage 2 chopsaw. Trigger won't latch so cable tied it on and use the footswitch. Much better!

It was you! I'd just finished reading the Lathes.co.uk article and persuading myself I had the space when the listing had gone.

It was an odd coincidence really.
I decided to leave it alone.
Then one of our regular customers asked us to collect a Jones and Shipman 1400 surface grinder.
I phoned the collection point to make sure it was palletised properly. He mentioned he had a much older machine in good condition. Persuaded me to buy it off him!

Well yesterday really. A pair of boots in my size in Lidl's 'reduced' cage, £9.99!

Can't go wrong with that, I'm going to wear them indoors for a full day to see if they're as comfy as they appear - if not I'll take them back for a refund, win:win

I've had some of both Aldi & Lidl boots, & they've always been fine.

That looks quite small for a dry sump tank, most I've seen have been 8-10litres worth.

That looks quite small for a dry sump tank, most I've seen have been 8-10litres worth.

Its 1.5 gallons Ian, does look small in the pic

I'm finally reunited with my freshly serviced Scubapro regs, and also my shiny new Scubapro S600 and Mk 25 1st stage:




Already had the S600 hooked up to a cylinder, and for ease of breathing it's a much smoother breath than my old S550, which in itself is a sweet piece of kit . And it's even supplied with a spare mouthpiece and clip, and a 4mm hex key for the blanking plugs in the 1st stage, so I'm well impressed . Now for a pleasant couple of hours rigging it to ensure the myriad of hoses are optimally routed, and possibly switching my old S550 to the 3 litre pony cylinder.

The trip computer is relocated to the top and I will be keeping the Alpine single Din lower in the dash

Been after one of these for 7yrs... only ever see used with cracked glass bowls, never with the filter inside. Took a punt on this one, looked to be unused. And it is
Took some separating from the rubber seal, glass is cloudy, inside is like new. Happy days

Fram fuel filter. Not seen one for sale in the UK, a few glass bowls in the states, but they are always chipped on the lip, so they leak, as mine does.

Got it stripped down, even the rubber is good.


Bowl is currently steeping in white vinegar
