I had a caravan pull up besides mine and the guy was ranting that his front wheel had worn out during his journey.......(jockey wheel )

Think I can nominate myself from last week.
Was replacing a power cord but forgot to unplug the other end,10m away
Managed to undo three leads without tripping the rcd. Shorted when I pulled them out from the box

no risk at all. the hob has the clearance required from the bowl with the drainer in between. the whole lot is wired though an rcd for protection so perfectly safe . wots the difference between that and standing in a wet tray with an electric shower .from what I have seen hundreds of showers haven't even got rcd fitted cant say ive heard of hardly any that has been electrocuted

That's only supposed to get the boat down the slipway into the water usually towed by an old tractor, the tyres wheels and bearings are not rated for road use and it has no suspension.

Had a walk last night around the new build estate

spotted this well fitted window

I cant even work out what it is. Look like a window with a window frame within, so you can open it all, or just a part of it, very odd looking.
That one looks simply broken, not badly fitted.

Maybe a broken hinge or maybe just been pushed open on the ****.

The window on the right shows how it opens. One of the opener support arms will be knackered. Simple enough fix.

The choice of positioning of the red band brickwork looks odd 300mm above the GF window.

Hate to see meter boxes on the front of houses. Its not much more work to put it round the side like the LHS semi has.

Built to (a low) budget, probably use an extra few meters of cables and take a few more minutes to install. Who cares what it looks like when profits are what everyone is interested in

Probably the same reason why the upstairs windows has a broken hinge, cheapest they could get and whoever installed it probably noticed it was bust but fitted it anyway as thats all they get paid to do.

Can you tell I'm a big fan of the crap rabbit hutches that developers churn out?

Probably one of those fitters who believes that a window won't shift as long as some packers & foam are there. Probably couldn't be arsed to put the fixings in that day.
