conifers "died"?
How many times did you feed them with diesel, ammonium sulphamate and glyphosphate before that happened?
Nope, I hoped they would last longer then me, but the drougth of last summer did it.
Never again I will plant conifers, what a mess inside when cutting them.
Luckily I have a motor pole chainsaw
All that is left to do is to pull out the roots with tractor, when my sons exams are done.

Today I made a start on modifying an old towing eye for a neighbour.
He has a friend who is getting quite bad with Parkinson's disease and this is to be a pin so that he can easily fit /remove one of these to the drawbar of an old ride-on mower which has been sitting abandoned in a shed for a couple of years when he bought a new replacement.
Tell him not to fill it with anything more than fresh air and dreams then. We bought two at work for a pipeline job a few years ago, to save the lads having to hand-carry all the tools down a quarter-mile jetty.
I've rewelded bits of both of them so many times there's more weld than there is parent metal.

He's had it for a year or two, just for hauling garden rubbish/ prunings etc around - nothing very heavy.

Needed to calm down after a friend caused an "incident."
So I found this lump of wood in the bag of fire wood. Too good to burn.
Manufactured from sawn timber and glued.
I let the grain tell me where to draw the lines.
The knot looks like an eye, the shape reminds me of "Glove" from the Yellow Submarine movie.
The Horse head is drinking teak oil like it is going out of fashion.
No. I don't know what I will do with them, yet.
But it was fun making them.

It is hard to work with but a very nice wood to use unless you get someone ask you to make a small oak stick which was in my opinion was for adult games, my inner teenage brain kept snigering as he showed me the designFinally got the worktop cut and mounted and the sink and tap fitted and working.

Is that a china sink or an enamel on steel one, the reason I ask, I am soon going to have to cut into an existing worktop to replace a moulded in one & if china it would be ideal.Finally got the worktop cut and mounted and the sink and tap fitted and working.

It's ceramic and bloody heavy!
The knockout for the tap has to be done with a hammer and punch, I kid you not!!! It's got a knockout both sides for left or right hand mounting. Most **** clenching moments doing that I can tell you as the other one on the kitchen chipped some of the glaze off behind the tap
If you get one similar see if you can find one that's already done!
I wouldn't recommend this make as the first two that arrived were damaged.
Edit:
Before you order make sure the new one is the same size or bigger that the hole you already have! This particular sink seems very large underneath and needed a fair bit of carcass cutting out to fit .

Patient: Einhell GC-BC-43-AS
Symptoms :starts work well till starts ejecting fuel from the carburettor towards the air filter .
I reckonize the cylinder and the piston to be completely burnt and covered by carbon deposit .
Diagnosis: blow by
Surely worn segments , probably deformed cylinder bore
I'm waiting to know how much for the parts .
