Interesting , Ive done a wee bit of aly casting before with a home made foundry but nothing serious. Are you hoping to use the 3d printed parts like the lost wax technique?

No just sand cast like this:

Here’s the clamps - one painted to make it ‘grab’ less. You can’t tell but the interior sides have a bit of draft on them. They work as is - not for welding of course.

These wheels on my bodged belt sander have been going for a couple of years now- though with infrequent use to be fair

I went for a run to shops. It was too bloody hot. As well as shopping I needed a drink so bottle of water and one westerns vintage 8% cider, which was chilled, but almost undrinkable. Small bottle of whisky which I had half and two spitfires. I have a 5km run home plus some lathe work to do later. Should have took the bike, too hot to run.

Got a T2 adapter and ring thing to connect my camera to my spotting scope!

That Gomu 20-60x60 is the only scope I can fit it to as the others either don't have threads on the scope to screw it on to or the eyepiece dia is too large for this to slip over

No threads on this one

This one is too large, Threads are around 46mm insrtead of 42mm

Oh, We acquired a sparrow in the conservatory for a short while, Cat was in there too, There were a few feathers on the floor but we got it out without the cat getting it properly!!
