Don't think there is a single round one left, what size was needed may have one or two others lying around.

This is were the bee's wax ended up.



Scrap wood.
Ignore the mitred right angle. That is a gig used to hold the wooden blocks together.
They are ripped down hard wood from a garden rose arch. Cleaned up and cross cut to size.




Clamps and gigs in use.
PVA glue as my hot melt glue pot is more holes.



@slim_boy_fat wax. This had a fantastic smell to it. But as you can see not much. But easy enough for my plan off cunning.



Mix it with teak oil, it should melt down nicely, it not had more thinners. Of the type the oil is thinned down with.

Warm gently.
Apply with a cloth rubber and let dry.

Mate asked me if I could knock something up for his chair base that snapped. It's one of those turny reclining leather jobbies, they're available in varying degrees of quality, I've repaired a different one for another mate that broke in a different place. His had an aluminum block for the wooden legs to bolt to, this one was plastic, like I said varying degrees of quality.

Cut up some 120x6mm flat into the required shapes, welded together, and we have a pretty indestructible block. To quote my message to him, you could anchor a ship to it now

Far from perfect welds but it its't going anywhere.

New steel one against the old plastic one.

I got rid of a shiney patch on a Crosman 2240 that was there because someone used emery cloth to remove a rust spot rather than oil soaked wire wool

It was still there so I broke out the wire wool and it only took a few seconds to get rid of it, It had a shiney bit on both sides of the receiver!

I used a bit of G96 blueing gel, Cleaned the area first with acetone a couple of times to get rid of any oily film then went for it!

Second one made this afternoon for Goose, his brother Charlie had one made a few weeks ago. I'd have a single, larger one for them both but Charlie eats elsewhere as he likes to wine and dine his food whereas Goose inhales and would then go for his. There's a groove I cut in the wtop on the lathe so the bowls sit securely.

Quite weighty as the legs are 40 X 4 angle iron with flat plates TIG welded on the bottom so I could stick silicon rubber feet on.

Bought this tool 1,5 year ago but didn't use it until today, it was actually quite good.
Maybe not the best layout but doing what I can to blend new stones with existing rows.
