That dosent look like a disaster, seems a decent enough quality machine there, would appear too be genuine copper bus bars, could have used copper or brass nuts but on a budget machine thats nit picking. Nothing screams its going too blow up instantly from that pick.

Maybe would need too watch for a crimp conection coming lose and shorting on something eventually but when new that could be prevented by the application of some heat shrink too a few of those crimp terminals.

That's what I was thinking I'm not familiar with welders specifically but I've seen my fair share of chiniesum grade crap and it was definitely a step up from that just simple things I was inpressed with like every connection had silicon to hold it place stuff like that

They have even marked each connection and fitting when they have tightened them, another good sign

In case anyone else goes off to hunt...
I have tried 2 polish sites that contact you separately once you click 'buy it now'. This is before you are asked for payment details. Both were out of stock after I had ordered.
Another site is an aggregation site where multiple different vendors advertise - I suspect there is a delay between that site getting updated with stock levels.
The is a DC Only Sherman 206P which does seem to be readily available. The excitement is about the AC/DC 206P version


I'm very tempted by the 210P as it isn't far off the cheapest AC tig you can get, and looks much better than anything cheaper. It would be great to hear confirmation that it 'works'. I mainly 'need' a tig because of this forum so the cheapest that will survive a few hours of welding and isn't so bad that it puts me off TIG is probably best choice.

I keen to try it as well but as this was sent by accident I'm holding off untill I know its definitely not going back but I doubt there going to let me keep it. mind you I've not heard anything from the seller so maby

To reduce the risk that my need for a tig welder was just a fad, I delayed the decision by promising to first prepare a welding table:

Almost there! Meanwhile, my son's computer graphics card just expired. Seems that during lockdown, computers are more important than bog roll or even tig welders to some people, and you have to spend the price of an AC tig welder to get any graphics card that is worth having

Up there ^^ I meant I am considering 216P, not 210P. It was a typo but turns out there is such a thing, although DC only.

no they where pretty much exactly the same price except if this is case for me its been free so far
