Nothing broken etc, mostly folks' inability to perform the basic, simple jobs for which they're being paid.

Well, maybe not that bad on reflection but major frustration on a numbered of fronts - I won't bore you with the sordid details [it'd be like a novel ] but enough to make me use bad words, and there's nobody here to hear them.....

All resolved now and I've just poured a malt, so will pop over to the Arms to see if anyone wants one.

We all have them mate. Recently ive discovered a simple rule for a stress free life Leave the past in the past live for today because tomorrow may never come. Why pollute a fresh new day with whats gone before and why pollute a fresh new day with what may or may not come...Simple but effective.......At least for me anyway. Hope this finds yo in a better place.......All the best

There is a certain fascination with people who 'have one job' and fail to do it adequately. Most frustrating when that person's oneself, of course! I was recently exposed to the phrase 'try again tomorrow' which works quite well even when the world is populated with clodpoles. As long as there's a good malt and a haven to retreat to at day's end.

I find it is very motivating , and some what inspirational , usually takes the recipient a wee while to let it sink in , and sort out the intended meaning .......... but it does make me smile.

We had a virtual office cat available to all on loan. When the frustration and rage index reached intolerable one would borrow said 'cat' and 'kick' it up and down the office corridors.

Marvellous feeling, but was inclined to confuse the bejeesus out of those not in the know, whilst sending a clear, if coded, message to those who were!

Edit: most used after 'conversations' with HR, legal, accounts, marketing etc.

@slim_boy_fat mind those stress levels and try to grab some calm time, my blood pressure is up and i am having to increase my meds due to idiots.. hopefully only short term..
