Pm on way. It's the Aldi Islay, surprisingly good [smokey & peaty - it's won awards] - I'm keeping the remains of the Laphroaig for a 'special' occasion and trying to avoid opening for the moment the JW Blue Label and Glen Ord 12y.o. I got from my late brother's 'collection' I got from the family when I was down there for his funeral a year ago.

Btw, I forget to mention for the benefit of those who've never tried it, but strong, plain chocolate goes very well with a malt

Ahhh, got you now - ignore my previous post. Not been there for years now, one of the three of us passed on and it just was't the same. Besides beer quality & service went d/hill.

#2 of the original three now comes to mine for a natter and one beer, as he has to drive about 4 miles into the village.

Or rather, he doesn't in current climes.....

Ginger biscuit is nice with it as well. You can't just say you had a bad day and not expand on it that's not how threads work. You have to tell us why so we can deride and mock you (or sympathise)
