These are what i make up and use, ive got 4 or 5 only mild steel they work well get slide hammer under the m8No because there is a 20mm bearing in both ends
Piece of round bar, with a 'notch/hook' machined/ground near one end, and a piece of flat stock welded to the other. Hook it inside the bearing at an angle and beat hell out of the flat stock end, rotating as necessary. It might take a while, but it will work. I can say that with confidence as I've done it in the past.

Well you saw that post with the massive crane doing a back flip.....
inherited these but just found them again, after watching the repair workshop program last night, probably a repeat, don't know if they are the same but has "for hard wire" stamped in German, if anyone watches it on catch up let me know if they are the same,
