providing the land is big enough to justify one and it is suitable for that type of weapon with backstops around I got mine because the farm was 600 acres and the land was deemed suitable if the land hasn't been inspected its probably a no go

Lad I used to work with trapped a badger in a cage trap. Decided to try to off it with a cheapo air rifle. When that didn’t work he decided the lurcher will take a rabbit, surely it’ll do a badger?

Badgers are solid, one nasty animal if provoked. I have released a few from snares and a pitch fork was very useful. Put the tines either side of the neck and push, once the badger is pinned down the snare comes off. Once off you run like the proverbial. They normally aren’t happy even after you have released them

Yes and no. This is the script: If it is a sub - sea bottle it is a 2 year test. If it is a surface use bottle it will have a guage fitted and the test is valid for five years. I fill dive bottles, almost every day. But I would never fill a bottle out of test. The reason is simple, I fill them to 300Bar. Now, if I fill one and something happens and it is out of test, my insurance is null and void. So, would you?

And oxygen, you'll need it. If you have a diving club nearby they’ll have tanks that are no longer coded for breathing use, but can be used for compressed air if air rifles. Get at least a 20ltr, lower volume and they balance out too fast.

My wife did her diver qualification and also did the compressor training. The test date is nothing to do with it's use for breathing it is to do with safety. No dive club or dive shop is going to fill a bottle that is out of test. if it's out of test it's out of test it doesn't suddenly become suitable for air rifles

Well, I would dispute this. I have quite a few customers who do just that on a regular basis and have done for years. We have only been selling airguns for forty four years so I could be wrong.

I have the weihrauch .177 lovely accurate gun with a decent scope just use it for pidgeons and rabbits up the back field .when you have shot a few rabbits early on in the season they just sit there even lamping. then they wise up with lamp or sneek up you wont get within 100 yards of them and they will be off

If your rabbits are lamp shy and take off try rocking your lamp just off them it sometimes stops them just shy of a hedge and you can slip the dog or get another shot in

How about inviting the local ferret club to have a few days in the field?
I have a Sharp Innova 0.22 with telescopic sight, really powerful but a faff to pump. My problem is not being able to hit an elephant's **** with banjo.
I use Logun Penetrator pellets.
