poor farmer a far cry from a grey fergie with 2 furrow plow and a bale elevator for stacking. ive built a fair few stacks by hand . probably why my backs knacked now
You may be able to get a tractor to move but I dont think you would get far in a modern combine. I got in one to move it and had to admit defeat, more buttons and knobs than the Starship enterprise so I got out

Dear things for what they are, bide your time, I feel there may be some bargins about in the hobby / toy sector fairly soon. This guy seems to lay his hand on a fair bit of older tractors, usually advertised on his faceache page.Awsom pics. I’m sitting looking through ebay for a Fergie 135 right now, your tractors are like space ships in comparison. .

Wow man, that's one hell of a farm.
How many people do you employ?
You can't do that on your own surely?
Great photos and machines, hats off!
I heard someone say that when the JCB Fastrac first arrived on the scene farmers had trailers falling apart behind them on the road as they weren't designed for the higher speed the tractor could do; any truth in that - or urban myth..?
@Fraserb Many thanks for taking the time out of what must be an immensely busy day for you! Great photos.

Lol, last summer I kept my mate company, he was driving a tractor pulling a baling machine in the fields around me.
The only thing that bitch didn’t do was have sex with him
Why would you run a harrow on both the front and back? I don't know anything about farming, but like to watch a few farmers on YouTube, and find you get more out of things if you know what you're looking at :-)
Im concerned that farm is a fantasy.....there is no mud in any of the pictures. It just cant be so!

It has been mentioned above, no mud. These are lovely pictures and the massive automation and new kit is really lovely to see. The thing is though, beautiful clear days like this are not the norm, not in my experience. It is usually tanking it down or as one picture showed, knee deep in snow. This stops your Crofter in his tracks. The farm is well laid out and we all know from experience it is hard work the real issue is though that no matter how well you plan anything, the weather often works against you.
Having said all of that, those halcyon days make it all worthwhile. Sometimes.
