Oh ye of little faith!exactly this, your in for a world of pain via insurance and the police in the event of an accident
granted you may get away with it for a while but your responsibility for a build is 7 years and a buyer will blame you, you will get fined and possibly do time for it
Oh ye of little faith!
In relation to?Iv only worked on cars day in day out for a few years and seen a few people been dragged across hot coals over the years
What is "doing something you shouldn't"? Not doing anything wrong or against the law, Who is saving money? Cant buy anyething similar! Good job inventors of old didn't think like you or we'd still be thinking about the wheel!
No cutting corners, Where exactly do you think I'm doing that? No wonder the great tradition of invention and innovation has
left the UK behind, and there was me thinking the luddites were long gone. Where are trailers being MoT tested that are under 750Kg? The other thing is that these unit do not come under trailer rules and regulations.
No reply because you can't! you've mentioned testing I asked where? I refer to Luddites as a general attitude to people who are afraid of advances in design or change of practice, then again if you class yourself as one who am I to question it, you know yourself better than anyone. Constructive criticism is useful but slating ideas without providing a reason is pointless. No wonder you gave up!
You're lost again, Not a trailer! All trailers need an IVA or built under a type approval which amounts to the same.
How many trailers have you seen that use castors? ;-)Your building trailer parts.
Do you mean "You're"? Not required to be tested as not a trailer QED! Where exactly does it state anywhere that a trailer has to be MoT/DoE tested?Your building trailer parts.
Loads on the continent, Google "Remorque pour campingcar"How many trailers have you seen that use castors? ;-)
I do agree the risks of using homemade suspension components for road vehicles, but I'd guess these aren't for a road vehicle.
I'd guess they're more agricultural, and given some of the agricultural things I've personally witnessed on the roads in Ireland, they'll be relatively outstandingly safe!
