Foundry master came to see me today.
This is a new foundry with quite a reputation, they cast the engines for the auto union recreations amongst other famous stuff.
Was talking of my plan to make a bench vice slightly bigger than the record 18 1/2
I thought he'd look at me like a loony but he informed me that he does already cast vices.
He does the castings for the buggati vice which is stupid money!
has to be the right grade of cast iron. Ordinary grey cast no funAt least it will be cast from the right grade. I cant imagine a cast iron vice lasting long with a BFH. Or will it it be a door stop
