Be nice to replicate, i think we collectively need to keep the flame lit in our respective trades as although its depressing doing under respected trades it would be more depressing if they just didn't exist.

I think it would be a nice centre point of the living room. Some people have flowers or photos, I think a nice straight edge would look good.

You'd never find anything straight to place it on going by presimmon builds

Im half thinking of getting the foundry to cast a ally one off my new 72” for erecting work.
Trouble is they’re animals and would probably kill it

I’d take a set of anything you make! If its as good as the square I got off you, solid piece, only thing that stopped my barn blowing away in these storms with the weight of it

Im flattered but im only making them for fun and I don’t want mods shutting the thread thinking its gone commercial.
The casting is quite dear as well going by the camelback ones I had cast

Pattern is Certainly much much quicker to make than bow top ones 5 times I reckon.
A 100kg cast iron flask(crucible) costs £170 in gas to melt so Im hoping the lighter weight may get costs down
