I used to be able to do a decent edge on a chisel and a plane by hand.
But now the left arm has issues, I find I wobble and the edge is not as good as it could be.

But if I am restoring a plane or a chisel for myself or MIS a guide is needed.

Used to ride to work 15 miles in total and then plaster a wall at home work until 10 and do the same next day cant do that now

Ok oil what ools I've not got much apart from gt85 or car oil or wax could now throw it over to the otherhalf dad as hes got lots of oils polish etc might be a better bet

I found a new toy on facebook marketplace. It’s had a single phase motor swapped in and it’s complete. The only problem is it spins backwards so it’s time to play electrician.

Those wires are only for the starter/overload/no-volt release, you'll have to dig into the box on the motor itself... snap a photo of the wires and terminals and someone'll tell you which wires / links to swap!

When I went to Scotland it was 7.5 hours and 300 plus miles and £200 in fuel my haul of hammers would be pitifull
